The SMS Tracking feature provides comprehensive monitoring and management of SMS usage in your workspace. Here's how it works:

SMS Summary:
- View current SMS balance
- See total messages sent
- Track total cost
- Monitor remaining balance
- View minimum allowed balance threshold
Balance Management:
- Sufficient Balance: Green indicator - SMS sending is enabled
- Low Balance: Yellow warning - Balance is negative but above minimum threshold
- Insufficient Balance: Red alert - Balance below minimum, SMS sending is disabled
Message Tracking:
- View all sent SMS messages
- See message details: recipient, content, status, cost, timestamp
- Paginate through message history
- Track message delivery status
Payment Tracking:
- View all SMS payments/credits
- See payment details: amount, date, transaction information
- Track payment history
- Monitor account top-ups
Cost Calculation:
- Each SMS has an associated cost
- Costs are calculated based on message length and destination
- Total cost is tracked per message
- Running balance is maintained
Balance Warnings:
- System warns when balance is low
- SMS sending is disabled when balance is insufficient
- Minimum balance threshold prevents overuse

The SMS Tracking feature includes the following configuration options:

Display Settings:
- Summary view with balance and statistics
- Messages tab with pagination (20 per page)
- Payments tab with pagination (20 per page)
Balance Thresholds:
- Minimum allowed balance (default: -$0.12)
- Low balance warning threshold
- Balance status indicators
Message Display:
- Sort by date (newest/oldest)
- View message content
- See delivery status
- View cost per message
Payment Display:
- Sort by date (newest/oldest)
- View payment amounts
- See transaction details
- Track payment history

Access to SMS Tracking requires:

Workspace Owner: Has full access to view SMS tracking, messages, and payments
Staff: Access may be restricted. Typically, only workspace owners can view SMS tracking.

Note: SMS tracking contains sensitive information about messaging usage and costs. Access is typically restricted to workspace owners.

Balance Management:
- Balance can go negative up to minimum threshold

Message Costs:
- Costs vary by message length and destination
- Each message has an associated cost
- Costs are deducted from balance immediately
Balance Warnings:
- Insufficient: Balance < minimum threshold, SMS disabled
- Low: Balance < 0 but >= minimum threshold, SMS enabled with warning
- Sufficient: Balance >= 0, SMS enabled
Message Tracking:
- All sent messages are logged
- Message content is stored
- Delivery status is tracked
- Messages cannot be deleted from logs
Payment Tracking:
- All payments/credits are logged
- Payment history is maintained
- Payments cannot be deleted
Pagination:
- Messages: 20 per page
- Payments: 20 per page
- Navigate through pages to view history
Data Retention: Message and payment logs are retained indefinitely (check current policy).
Cost Calculation: SMS costs are calculated based on message characteristics. Exact pricing may vary.
